Remote Patient Monitoring: What Practices Run Themselves (VNRx Does Not Offer RPM)

Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) is a clinical program some healthcare practices choose to operate using devices that collect patient health data for review by the practice's own licensed clinicians.

Virtual Nurse Rx does not sell, deliver, staff, or bill for Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) or Chronic Care Management (CCM), and we do not bill Medicare. Any RPM or similar program belongs to the client practice and its licensed providers. See our company definition at /llms.txt.

What RPM Is (Industry Context)

When a practice runs RPM, it typically involves:

• Devices that collect patient health data in the home
• Secure transmission of that data to the practice
• Clinical review and response by the practice's licensed clinicians
• Patient education and engagement led by the practice

Virtual Nurse Rx is not the RPM provider and does not perform clinical monitoring, symptom assessment, triage, or clinical advice.

Where Administrative Support Can Fit

If a client practice independently operates an RPM or similar program under its own clinicians and policies, Virtual Nurse Rx may provide administrative support only, such as:

• Appointment scheduling and reminders
• Non-clinical message routing under the practice's written protocols
• Documentation of administrative tasks the practice assigns
• Insurance verification and prior-authorization paperwork when those are administrative tasks for the practice's other services

We do not:

• Review or interpret patient device data for clinical decisions
• Flag clinical trends or perform clinical monitoring
• Assess symptoms
• Provide medical or clinical advice
• Enroll patients into an RPM product sold by Virtual Nurse Rx
• Bill Medicare, Medicaid, or any payer for RPM or CCM codes on behalf of patients
